Dear Robin,
Thank you so very much for giving us the opportunity to bring Sadie into our lives. She is a ball of energy! In just a few short weeks, Sadie is quickly learning to potty outside, the word “kennel”, “down”, “come” and of course “NO”. She has mastered going up and down the staircase and sleeps through the night! We are very happy with our new addition.
I have previously owned two Cocker Spaniels and began searching for a third after learning that our second Cocker, Guinness, would have to be put down. I spent two full days running searches on the Internet looking for Cocker pups. I was determined to find a female, since males dominate my world! I never realized that searching for the perfect puppy could be so difficult. I had several criteria while doing my search. First of all, the puppy had to be female. Secondly, she could not have the same coloring as my previous two, so that knocked out the silvers and black and tans. Thirdly, the breeder had to be reputable.
I found Robin’s website and was very impressed by all the information, pictures and wonderful graphics. I checked the nursery and found a 2-day-old female sable pup. I contacted Robin immediately via email and received a quick response. Since I live over four hours from Robin, I was unable to drop everything to see the puppy and check out the home in person. So I called Robin and asked her a lot of questions, contacted her vet for references and put my trust in her that I was going to receive a healthy, happy puppy.
At 7 ½ weeks of age, my husband and I drove to Wisconsin to bring our little bundle of joy back to Minnesota. The trip to Robin’s seemed to take forever! When we finally arrived, Robin was very friendly and eager to answer any questions we had. Her house was clean and the puppy room was spotless. Sadie had just been groomed and was still slightly damp from her bath. And the puppy breath, well that just goes without saying! I would recommend Robin to anyone who is interested in purchasing a puppy or adult Cocker Spaniel.
